Altukhov Nickolay was born in kazakhstan, Almaty on March 30, 1959. Nickolay is a self-taught artist who from a very young age developed passion for art and oil painting. at a young age in school he would paint posters for school plays and would win talent show with his paintings. He had many different jobs but Nickolay would spend every spare moment to perfect his painting skills.
Nickolay paints "Classical Realism". His every painting is a masterpiece. He has Landscaping paintings that looks so real and alive, that you can almost smell the trees and feel the ocean breath. And in his still life paintings fruits look so real you can almost eat them. His paintings demonstrate timeless quality and appeal. They are not minimalist nor are they over composed. He prefers a fusion of classical and contemporary influences. A lot of his paintings are in private collection around the world. currently Nickolay lives in United States, Orange County California.
